Mark Shreve

President

Mr. Shreve joined CCS in September, 2010 to found the Connecticut Coast Soccer Classic. He also works closely with Founder Rob Brule to guide the mission and programs of Connecticut Coast Soccer.

Mr. Shreve attended the University of Maine along with Mr. Brule, and was a member of their men’s soccer team for three years. He also coached at Brewster High School, UMaine Summer Sports Camps, Victory Soccer Camps, and the Ocean State Soccer Camps for several years, as well as playing for Warren SC and East Providence SC of the LASA League in the late 80’s.  He was Barrington High School’s (RI) second leading goal scorer for their 1984 State Champion team, and an All-State goalkeeper on their 1985 State Champion team.

Mr. Shreve brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning and business operations, most recently serving as the Founder and CEO of the nonprofit Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis from 2001-2009, where he raised more than $6 million to aid those fighting the terminal lung disease pulmonary fibrosis. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (IL), as a Founding Board Member of PF Advocates, Inc. (MN), as a member of the Board of Directors of Under the Radar, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit providing scholarships for deserving baseball players in need, and as Principal of Canocorn Strategies, which provides consulting services to the pharmaceutical and nonprofit industries. He lives in Titusville, NJ with his wife Amy and their two children.
