Attracting Serious Young Athletes
The 16th Annual Connecticut Coast Soccer Clinic has grown in popularity because it provides our area's most dedicated soccer players an opportunity for "gender-separate" training from the areas premier soccer coaches.
At Connecticut Coast Soccer Clinic, we focus on players who have aspirations of playing at the Travel, Premier, High School and Collegiate level. We have produced local Travel and Premier Team players; Olympic Development players who have become Regional Pool and National Team players; and High School players who have become All-Conference, All-State, All-New England All-American and most recently, a Womens Professional Soccer League (WPS) player.

Started in 1994 by the Waterford Soccer Club, our roots originated as the only “All Girls” soccer clinic in southern Connecticut and with overwhelming support from soccer enthusiasts around the region, we have sustained this specialized summer training for females players and have now expanded our clinics to players entering 7th-12th grade at our Team Week Soccer Clinics, for players throughout the region! Come see why southern Connecticut's most dedicated soccer players come to Connecticut Coast, and more importantly, why they come back every year!
We gear our attention to both Intermediate and Advanced Players at Connecticut Coast Soccer Clinic!
All Players will:
Develop individual skill techniques and a love for the game, which is the focus of this fun and entertaining experience. Players are exposed to the fundamentals of soccer using the "games approach" to teaching. Small-sided games give players the ability to practice what they have learned in a game-like situation. Repetition is the key to skill development and is the focus of our individual skill sessions. This is the perfect situation for players who want to learn and enjoy their soccer clinic experience.
Advanced Players will:
Refine individual skill techniques and be exposed to the tactical aspects of the game, which are the focus of Connecticut Coast Soccer Clinic. In this soccer environment, advanced players will perform technical work under pressure and proper tactical decision making is taught, in both training and game environments. Both small-sided and full-sided games are used to expose players to a variety of situations where tactical choices must be made. We have found that Connecticut Coast Soccer Clinic provides the serious soccer player who strives to be the best, an opportunity to realize their potential and improve his or her confidence on the pitch.
